Assessment Day for entry at 16+
All prospective Lower Sixth pupils are expected to attend an Assessment Day at the College in November of the year prior to entry.
Candidates will attend three course presentations chosen from a carousel and have two interviews, one concerning academic matters and the other of a pastoral nature. In addition there is a General Abilities test. Candidates have the opportunity to stay overnight in one of the boarding houses following a buffet supper for all.
Scholarship candidates return to the College for the Scholarship examinations. Dr Gray Bradfield Exhibition and Art, Sports and Performing Arts Award candidates return for the relevant assessment.
Successful candidates are offered a place conditional upon achieving the minimum standard of entry to our Sixth Form.
Offers of places are made to successful candidates on 1st December.
