Swine Flu Notice

Bradfield College's Medical Officer

The Bradfield College Medical Centre is monitoring the Swine Flu epidemic on a daily basis and the College Doctors have no concerns for pupil well-being at present. We will update the College Website daily and recommend the HPA website as the source of the most up to date Medical Advice.

Contingency plans in the event of closure

The College is planning how it would continue to provide education to its pupils in the event of an outbreak of swine flu which resulted in the authorities requiring the College to close.

The College has invested in its ICT facilities over recent years. It is therefore investigating how it would use its email system and Intranet to make lesson plans, educational material, coursework and reading lists available to pupils on-line, with teachers available to pupils on-line or via email. In the event of closure, pupils would be instructed where and when to access the facilities which the College is planning to make available.
