We are thrilled to have been awarded the Muddy Stilettos Best Schools Passionate About Sport award for senior schools.
We asked Deputy Head Co-curricular, Roger Wall to share what winning this award means to Bradfield. “The recognition of this award is testament to the fantastic approach and contributions made by pupils across a range of sporting areas and the value they place on both participation and competition to the highest possible level. None of this can happen without a truly dedicated and professional team of coaching staff which at Bradfield comes from both academic teachers and professional coaches who are superbly led by Matt Ruxton, Director of Sport, who has been a driving force in raising pupil ambitions and performances.”
Matt Ruxton Director of Sport, highlighted the importance of sport as part of our Education for Life: “It is great to see this award recognise the positive culture that exists around physical activity at Bradfield. The significant resource we commit to this area highlights its importance within the overall education offered at the College, but its true benefits are only realised because of the enthusiasm and expertise with which our dedicated team of coaches deliver, and the engaged way our pupils choose to participate. They must take credit for absolutely making the most of the opportunities afforded to them. “
