May 18, 2017

Jake‘s (A) A Level short film, ‘Dear Diary’, has been shortlisted for The 2017 MediaMag Video Production Awards!

This year’s competition saw nearly 1,000 entries submitted by pupils from schools and colleges across the country with Jake’s film one of only five to be nominated.

The prestigious award ceremony will take place at the BFI Southbank on 5 July where all of the short films will be screened and judged by a panel of professionals from the film industry.

An amazing achievement and justly deserved. You can watch Jake’s film below:

Bradfield Oscars Evening

Jake’s film was just one of the amazing short films produced by our Sixth Form pupils that were presented at Bradfield’s Oscars Evening at the end of April.

Below is just a taste of the incredible work that was on show.

The judges were very impressed by the entries, commenting on the overall standard as remarkable for A Level pupils with deliberations taking nearly an hour.

Here’s what some of the judges had to say:

“The quality of films fantastic and it was great to return to Bradfield.”
Joseph Jones (OB)
