A Level Exam Results 2017

August 17, 2017

Sixth Form pupils at the College have returned a pleasing set of results in their public examinations, including excellent results in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) announced earlier this summer.  Having converted IBDP Higher Level scores into A level equivalents (7 as A*, 6 as A, etc.) some two thirds of grades were scored A* – B, with 18 pupils securing a clean sweep of the top two grades (or equivalent). The average UCAS points score for Bradfield candidates was 147, which equates to AAA at A Level.  Special mention must go to 7 pupils – Susie, Alex, Louie, Tiff, Amy, Sam and Diana – for their excellent performance in three or more A Levels.

We are delighted to report that the overwhelming majority of the pupils have made it into one of their top two university choices. Overseas applications continue to grow with a strong group heading for North American institutions, with several awarded scholarships, and to other destinations including Canada, Israel, Italy and Australia.

We wish all of our leavers well, congratulate them on their achievements and thank them for their many contributions to the College.
