GCSE Exam Results 2017

August 23, 2017

The College is delighted to report another strong set of results from (I)GCSE public examinations.  Well over 50% of all grades scored at the highest levels – A* or A – and this in a number of subjects delivering the traditionally more rigorous, unreformed IGCSEs.  Equally, Bradfield is pleased to have maintained standards across all abilities – A*-B (87%) and A*-C (98%).  This is in line with our record results of previous years.

There were many very impressive individual successes. Particular congratulations should go to Hannah (K), Hamish (E), Tushar (A) and Emma (K) who each achieved 8 or more A*s. All this comes against a backdrop of tighter marking and an overhaul of the GCSE qualification itself.

Pupils will now move into the College’s Sixth Form to study A Level subjects or embark on the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.  October sees the roll-out of Bradfield’s Enterprise and Entrepreneurship module alongside an exciting careers and employability programme.
