IBDP Results 2020
In spite of the challenging circumstances of this year and the subsequent cancellation of examinations, we are pleased to announce that this year’s IB cohort were awarded an average of 35 points. This compares very favourably to the global average of 30 (out of 45) points and is testament to the pupils’ hard work and commitment throughout the Diploma Programme. In amongst a number of highlights:
- 100% of Diplomas were awarded
- 22% of pupils scored 39 points and over (UCAS equate 40 points to approximately four A*s at A level)
- 84% of pupils scored between 5 and 7 points in all of their subjects
Special mention goes to Charlotte (K) who was awarded 43 points and will leave to read Geography and International Relations at St Andrew’s university. Congratulations also to Holly (I), Rosa (I), Cecilia (K) and Ben (C), all of whom were awarded 40 points or above.
The IB Diploma continues to thrive at Bradfield as its ethos fits so strongly with that of the College. A strong synergy exists between the Diploma’s core values and those implicit with within an Education for Life.
We would like to congratulate all candidates from this cohort and wish them well in their future endeavours.
