Young Film Academy, the UK’s leading provider of film education for young people aged 6 to 19 years old, has announced the shortlist for the 2023 10 Shot Film Awards. FOOTBALL FRENZY, a film by Bradfield pupils, is up for the award in the Years 10-12 category.

The awards recognise filmmaking excellence in UK schools, showcasing the best two minute films produced by groups of students across 125 schools in the UK. The judging panel looked at a combination of originality and technical filmmaking skills, with entires taking no longer than two hours to plan, film and edit.

In 2023, 125 leading UK schools hosted the One Day Film School with Bradfield welcoming the team in the Summer Term. So far this year more than 1000 films have been made by over 10,000 Year 7-12 students.
