Campus-XR: An Introduction

Born of Bradfield, the College remains integral to the success of educational VR platform Campus-XR as it enters the most exciting stage of its development. The video above sees Bradfield pupils in our classrooms using this technology to enhance their learning.

With demand increasing for more personalised support for Special Educational Needs (SEN) and science education, and with schools increasingly focused on preparing pupils for a world shaped by AI and rapid technological change, Campus-XR is now raising capital through an investment round to accelerate delivery into this space and scale responsibly, building on strong evidence from organisations already using the platform.  Clients currently include 15 schools and Liverpool FC’s community outreach.  Campus-XR has also completed its first international sale in Dubai and is currently in discussion with more than 250 schools and organisations in the UK and internationally.

Alongside this growth, there is a specific philanthropic opportunity focused on SEN and alternative provision. In many cases, state primary and secondary schools are keen to adopt the platform immediately but continue to wait for government funding. Philanthropic support allows access to be brought forward, avoiding unnecessary delay at a point when pupils could benefit straight away.

Wider adoption not only extends educational impact into parts of the system where timing matters most, but also strengthens the long-term sustainability of a platform Bradfield has helped shape – something that really matters to the College both as an educational partner and an early investor, and aligns closely with the direction set out in the UK Government’s recent Curriculum and Assessment Review (CAR, November 2025).

For parents who would like to understand this work in more detail, there will be a series of opportunities in the coming months to learn more. These will include online briefings and in-person demonstration sessions at the College, offering the chance to see the platform in use and understand Bradfield’s role in its development. Further information on these sessions, as well as on investment or philanthropic engagement for those who are interested, will be shared separately. In the meantime, parents are welcome to contact will@campus-xr.org or bruce@campus-xr.org to find out more.
