At a time when concern for the physical and mental health of young people has never been greater, this project demonstrates Bradfield College's determination to lead with clarity, compassion and responsibility.
This new Centre is not just a facility, it is a statement of values. It reflects a belief that wellbeing underpins success and that when students are healthy, supported, and connected, they are best placed to thrive both in school and in life.
We are pleased to announce that Bradfield will open a new Health and Wellness Centre next year, marking a significant step in strengthening the care, support and physical and mental wellbeing of every child in our community.
Launching this important project during Children’s Mental Health Week feels particularly fitting. The theme this year is ‘This is my Place’, celebrating the creation of inclusive and nurturing environments where young people feel they belong. We prioritise the physical and mental wellbeing of our pupils every week and this transformative investment brings that commitment into sharper focus.
Located close to the boarding houses, the centre will bring together the medical centre, physiotherapy and injury rehabilitation services, counsellors, and dedicated group therapy spaces within one accessible hub. This integrated approach will support a proactive, holistic model of care, with lasting benefits for physical health, emotional resilience, academic success and community connection.
We encourage you to watch the launch video, explore the building plans and, if you would like to support the project, please visit the dedicated webpage. We will of course keep you updated on progress over the coming months.
