National Poetry Day winners

For this year’s National Poetry Day competition, our pupils were challenged to write a poem on the theme Freedom.

Our English Department had the unenviable task of judging the many entries in both the junior and senior categories. After much deliberation, they selected Rosa McBain’s entry Righting a Poem as the junior winner and Anna Mladentseva’s It is strictly forbidden to touch any exhibit as the senior winner.
