Faulkner’s Science Prize Finalists

Budding Bradfield scientists Yolanda (LI) and Joe (LG) recently visited the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory following their selection as finalists for the School Science Prize.

Pupils were tasked with writing a short essay entitled Why I Love Science with Yolanda and Joe two of just ten entries selected from hundreds of submissions across the country.

At the laboratory, they were treated to a special behind-the-scenes tour of one of the high-powered laser facilities, with their guests able to explore a series of demonstrations and activities.

Yolanda and Joe also got to show off their presentation skills as they presented their essays with great confidence and maturity to the other finalists and visiting parents and teachers.
