All My Sons

This year’s performing arts calendar was kicked off by our Sixth Formers with their rendition of All My Sons, a 1960s update of Arthur Miller’s play.

Drawing its inspiration form Greek Tragedies, the performance was set in the US at a time when the country was increasingly fatigued by wars waged overseas. Sons have been lost, moral codes are shook to their foundations and the American Dream is fading.

Well done to all our pupils who put in very moving and mature performances. We are already looking forward to Antigone, a contemporary re-imagining of Sophocles’ classic in November.
