The Demon Headmaster – Faulkner’s Play 2019

March 5, 2019

Earlier this term, our Faulkner’s performed their take on Adrian Flynn’s The Demon Headmaster for their annual production.

The play tells the story of a power-hungry Headmaster intent on ruling the world by hypnotising all young people. Performed in the Old Gym, minimal set, lights, music and projection were employed to transform the space from an ordinary classroom into the SPLAT Headquarters, deep in the woods.

Congratulations to the 30 pupils who, following two sell-out evening performances, had to put on an impromptu matinee performance due to popular demand.

It is difficult to pick out any one stand out performer from this talented ensemble, however Sophie and Lottie gave memorable performances in the title role, ably supported by Luc, Harry, Charlie, Sam, Allegra and Lola as the principal trouble makers.
