Spring Concert returns to Reading Concert Hall

It was with great anticipation that over 100 pupils headed out to Reading in sunny mid-March for the Spring Concert, the showcase concert of the Lent Term. For the first time since 2019 the event took place in Reading Concert Hall which provided our pupils with a taste of the concert world inside a professional venue.

There was a wonderful variety to the programme which began with the Chapel Choir and Chapel Consort before moving through a classical string trio, a saxophone ensemble, through to jazz, pop and rock. The concert finished with a gospel choir of 60 singers raising the roof.
