As part of our 175 Anniversary celebrations, last week’s Steeplechase incorporated hurdles, big bales of straw and near total immersion in the Pang in the finishing stretch of the 6km cross-country run. Nearly 600 pupils and staff completed the race in scenes reminiscent of the black and white cinema newsreel of its predecessor 100 years ago.
