The College Leadership Executive (CLE)

Jeremy became Head of Bradfield in August 2025. He joins the College from Rossall School in Lancashire where he has been Headmaster since 2018. Prior to Rossall, Jeremy was Deputy Head (Academic) at Brentwood School in Essex (2013-18) and Head of Sixth Form at Gresham’s in Norfolk (2010-13).

Jeremy holds an MA in History from the University of Cambridge and an M.Phil. in Medieval History from Trinity College, Dublin. He has a special interest in music and plays the piano and bassoon. He was a choral scholar both at Peterhouse, Cambridge, and at Trinity College.

Jeremy is married to Fiona, and they have three daughters, Alicia (13), Caitlin (11) and Teigan (7).

Owen Adams is the Chief Operating Officer responsible for the operational functions across the College along with wider strategy development. He arrived in April 2019 having previously been the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Colleges and Student Experience) at Durham University.

Beforehand he spent 30 years in the British Army (Royal Artillery) in a variety of operational and leadership appointments. He spent a significant period within the training and education spheres; notably as Head of the Royal School of Artillery and a Director at the internationally renowned UK Defence Academy.

He has been selected for service with airborne, commando and arctic forces with operational deployments in Northern Ireland, Bosnia, Kosovo, Cyprus and Afghanistan. His awards include an OBE and Queen’s Commendation for Valuable Service and the Medal for Long Service and Good Conduct.

His education includes an MA in Defence Studies and MSc in Leadership & Management. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute and Institute of Leadership & Management.

He has been married to Sonja, a nurse, for 27 years and has two children. When not at work he seeks fresh (mountain) air, ideally accompanied by his family and dog.

Patrick Sinclair joined Bradfield in August 2024 as Finance Director for The Bradfield Group.

Patrick qualified as a chartered accountant at PwC and is a highly accomplished Chief Financial Officer and leader. Patrick has operated at board level in multiple sectors in both public limited and private equity backed companies. With 9 years’ CFO experience in three businesses, Patrick has proven success across the key responsibilities attached to the Group Finance Director role. Patrick joined us from 3t, the UK’s largest training company in the energy sector.

Patrick is a committed advocate of independent schools and with two children currently at the College has first-hand experience of Bradfield’s culture and values, which are closely aligned to his own. He is delighted to have the opportunity to play a pivotal role in the Group.

Patrick is a fluent French speaker and sports enthusiast, enjoying amongst others golf and tennis in his spare time.

Andy Logan was appointed Second Master in September 2017.

Andy was educated at The Leys School, Cambridge before attending the University of Manchester where he completed a BA in Geography, then going on to the University of Oxford to gain a PGCE.

More recently, he completed a Masters in Educational Leadership from the University of Buckingham. Prior to joining Bradfield, he taught at Malvern College and then Cranleigh School where he was Head of Geography, a Housemaster and then Senior Housemaster.

Andy continues to teach some Geography, coach cricket and referee football. He has an interest in all sports but particularly, cricket and rugby. Although his rugby days are long gone, he still plays occasional cricket for various wandering clubs and tries to hit an (occasionally straight) golf ball whenever he can.

He is married to Claire and they have three children.

Alexandra Acton, Senior Deputy Head, has overall responsibility for the marketing and external relations of the College as well as the admission of new pupils.

She has held this responsibility and been a member of the SMT since 2000. Alexandra, formerly Head of German and Modern Languages between 1997 and 2000, played an important role in the College’s transition to a fully co-educational boarding school in 2005. She first joined the College as a part-time teacher of German in 1993.

Educated in South Africa in the German school system, she has a BA from the University of Natal and taught German and Biology in schools in Pretoria, Cape Town and Johannesburg before the family moved to the UK in 1989. Alexandra also has a qualification in special educational needs.

She has always played a full role in the life of the College and has accompanied pupils on numerous cultural trips to Germany over the years.

In her free time, Alex enjoys spending time with friends and family at home and abroad in South Africa and Europe. An avowed travel bug, she is also a keen gardener and tennis player.

Roger Wall became Deputy Head (Co-Curricular) in September 2015.

Roger was educated at Worksop College and then read General Arts (BA) at Durham University. He completed a PGCE (Geography) at the same university before starting his teaching career at Queen’s College, Taunton.

Roger was appointed to Bradfield’s geography department in 1991 before becoming Housemaster of D House (1996-2005) and Head of Faulkner’s (2005-2014). He was Master in Charge of Hockey from 1992-2014 and is still coach of the boys’ 1st XI.

Roger is a keen sportsman and has coached at all levels of hockey, cricket and tennis. Currently an England Master’s Hockey player, he has gold medals from the 2016 World Cup and 2017 European Championships.

His wife, Fiona, taught French at Bradfield and was Faulkner’s Head of Girls from 2005-2014. They have three adult children who were all educated at Bradfield.

Richard joined Bradfield College as Deputy Head (Pastoral) in September 2022, arriving from Cheltenham College where he was Senior Housemaster and an established member of the Senior Leadership Team. He was educated at Exeter School, Devon and went on to read Geography at Swansea University. After graduating, Richard spent ten years in the Armed Forces, serving in Iraq, Afghanistan and Germany. Having completed his PGCE in 2010, he spent one year at Haberdashers’ Monmouth School for Girls before joining Cheltenham College as Head of Geography and CCF Contingent Commander, becoming a Housemaster shortly thereafter.

Richard possesses a depth of pastoral and boarding expertise alongside a compelling commitment to rounded character education. He believes strongly in educating the whole person – building confidence and resilience – to create well-rounded, polite and innovative young people. In between teaching, Richard has a keen interest in health and fitness, particularly outdoor pursuits and ultra events. Richard lives at the College with his wife Tamaryn (an Old Bradfieldian I 92-94) and their two children.

Jamie became Deputy Head (Academic) in September 2025, having previously held the position of Director of Teaching and Learning. He joined the College as Head of French in September 2019, before which he taught for two years in his hometown of Harrogate, North Yorkshire.

Jamie achieved a 1st Class degree in Modern Languages from Durham University, working during this time as a language assistant in a French lycée and as Lead Teacher of English across a group of schools in Barcelona, Spain. He completed his PGCE at the University of Leeds and has since gone on to attain Chartered Manager Status. Jamie is also a Member of the Chartered College of Teaching.

Whether inside or outside the classroom, Jamie is committed to creating an environment where pupils are not only academically curious, but also feel empowered, equipped and inspired to be ambitious in their own learning in order to discover and fulfil their potential.

When not teaching or in the boarding house, Jamie enjoys travelling – ideally involving a good walk, a good book, good food and good wine. He is also a keen musician and makes time to keep up with singing and playing the piano.

Camilla took up the role of Director of Sixth Form in September 2026 after 4 years as Head of Mathematics, having originally joined the college in 2015.  Camilla studied at New College, Oxford University graduating with a first-class degree in Mathematics. After leaving university, Camilla joined Robert Fleming Investment Bank, spent time working abroad in South Africa with Cadiz Holdings, before becoming an executive director at UBS Investment Bank where she specialised in equity structured products.

After moving to the countryside with her young family, Camilla chose to pursue a career in teaching, a vocation she finds both personally and professionally fulfilling. She is passionate about helping young people fulfil their academic potential while developing the confidence, resilience and wider skills needed to thrive beyond Bradfield. As Director of Sixth Form, she is committed to fostering an ambitious, supportive and inclusive community in which every student can flourish.

Camilla lives in Monk Sherborne, Hampshire, with her husband, Ben, and their two children, Charlotte and Ralph. Outside school, she enjoys swimming, cycling, yoga and long walks with family, friends and her two dogs, Mika and Bertie.

Sarah Davies took up the role of Assistant Head (Safeguarding) in September 2022 having joined Bradfield College as Deputy Head (Pastoral) in 2016, relocating from the bright lights of London where she held the same post for several years at Notting Hill and Ealing High School (GDST). For Sarah, the move represented a return to leafy Berkshire having previously taught at St Gabriel’s, Newbury and Reading Girls’ School.

An English Language and Literature graduate of the University of Reading, Sarah is an unapologetic bookworm and film buff, a (very vocal) Welsh rugby fan and is passionate about all things sci-fi.

Sarah is married to Toby, a freelance TV graphic designer. Together they have a son, Griff.
