Tatler Schools Guide Review

September 11, 2019

The College is delighted to have received such a glowing review in this year’s Tatler Schools Guide. Read the full excerpt below or explore the pages of our website to find out what our ‘Education for Life’ ethos is all about.

Parents rave about Bradfield and are unanimous in extolling its kind, caring and inclusive ethos. ‘Nothing has been too much trouble. I genuinely cannot imagine any other school that would care so much’, says one mother.

Faulkner’s House is a case in point, where the entire first year board together in this homely abode to encourage bonding across the year group. Boarding provision is ‘family-friendly’ with the flexibility to go home at weekends, and the food is so delicious that it has its own Twitter and Instagram accounts.

Academic results are going from strength to strength with one pupil achieving 45/45 in their IB and four students heading to Oxbridge. Music is equally brilliant with one pupil securing a place at The Royal College of Music and another by the London Academy of Musical Theatre.

But, sport is where Bradfieldians really excel: there are fixtures in 20 disciplines; one leaver signed a contract with Burnley Premiership Football Club; and three pupils were awarded sports scholarships to US universities. It’s no surprise that Bradfield applications are on the rise. In the words of one mother: ‘If your child is offered a place, grab it with both hands, you are truly lucky!’
