Campus-XR is an education software platform that has been under development by staff at Bradfield College since 2019 through the vision and guidance of our IT Director, Trevor Benstock. The platform integrates Virtual Reality and Artificial Intelligence technologies with a view to engaging pupils and improving their learning experiences and outcomes. The platform has already been trialed in a large number of schools and the response has been overwhelmingly positive.

The Bradfield Group has funded the development of Campus-XR to this point, however significant funding is now required for further product development and marketing to maximize the platform’s potential. Council therefore considers it appropriate for an independent company to manage this development and allow funders and management to dilute the College’s shares in the company. Council intends that Bradfield will maintain a significant share in the company.

Campus-XR is chaired by Bruce Tomlinson, who is a former member of Council. Two Old Bradfieldians, Will Appleby (B 86-91) and Will Bray (H 15-19) have recently been appointed to key management positions.

The investment opportunity has been pre-approved by HMRC for the Enterprise Investment Scheme. It presents a unique opportunity to be part of a groundbreaking education platform which can make an impact on the lives of pupils both nationally and internationally.

The development of Campus-XR is of great importance to Bradfield. Besides the potential reputational benefits, Campus-XR is an important part of Bradfield’s strategy to diversify its revenue streams and therefore provide further security for Bradfield in the future.
