Development Overview 2020

January 10, 2020

You will read in the October Bradfieldian that in the Summer term whilst Bradfield’s classrooms were quiet, the College spirit was very much alive, reflected in this pupil’s comment

“The remote term was a time in my life that I will always remember, not for what I wasn’t able to do, but for everything that I did do.” savannah (M), fifth form

This sentiment has been maintained in the return to College for the Michaelmas term. Whilst many restrictions are in place to keep COVID-19 at bay, these have been dutifully respected with a collective desire in favour of the greater good and life at Bradfield has continued to be as busy as ever.

In a bid to support that greater good members of our community have also stepped forward in support of the COVID-19 Hardship Fund, instigated to provide fee assistance to those left in a challenging position by the crisis. A heart felt thanks to those who contributed to this most pressing cause.

Many thanks also to our existing supporters who continue to make gifts to our ongoing Bright Futures Bursary programme, articles on Gloria and Iyayi speak of the benefits of this programme.

Continued thanks also to those who help support the upkeep of our amazing facilities as well as the development of new ones, as part of ongoing Campus Development.

Indeed, we have a lot to be thankful for during these difficult times and it is wonderful to be part of a community so vested in the College and its future.

We look forward to the progress we shall make in the New Year.
